"Composition with noise" is a series of generative artworks made with code.

The work is an original single-edition Giclée print of size 42 x 29,7 cm (A3). It is printed on an archive quality paper — Hahnemühle Museum Etching. This means that the work will look great even after many decades.

A certificate of authenticity is included. The artwork is hand-signed on the face. Ships in a tube, not framed. My last release "gemeinsam" is included for free.

I made the series "Composition with noise" to express the intricate relationship between the rule-based nature of art making and algorithmic beauty we see in the Nature.

I created an instruction and implemented it in the code to produce a generative system capable of creating potentially infinite amounts of paintings. This piece is the first in the series. The instruction was this:

1. Pick two colors aesthetically compatible with each other;
2. Paint a grid of randomly rotated shapes with an applied noise algorithm.
